Current access
RollBerry – Closed Beta License
RollBerry is in a closed beta and is not currently distributed publicly.
Scope: The closed beta license applies to selected testers who have been expressly granted access by RollBerry Studios.
- Access: Exclusively within the closed beta; there is no entitlement to participation or permanent access.
- Purpose: Testing and feedback only – this is pre-release software and may contain bugs.
- License grant: Non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable – for personal, non-commercial testing purposes only.
- Restrictions: No redistribution, no reverse engineering, no commercial use, no modification.
- Data collection: RollBerry does not collect or transmit usage, telemetry, or crash data. Files, campaign content, and local databases remain on your device.
- Feedback: Feedback is voluntary and is only transmitted through contact channels you actively use. By submitting feedback, you grant RollBerry Studios a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use and incorporate such feedback.
- Disclaimer: Beta software is provided without warranty. RollBerry Studios is not liable for data loss, corruption, or other damages.
Future release
RollBerry – Full License
The following terms apply when activating a full license key. RollBerry is not currently available to the public.
Scope: The full license applies if you activated RollBerry with a full license key.
- License grant: Non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable – for personal use.
- Installation: On machines you own or control.
- Restrictions: No redistribution, no reverse engineering, no commercial use, no modification.
- Intellectual property: All rights remain with RollBerry Studios.
- Disclaimer: The software is provided without warranty.

The source notes below distinguish RollBerry VTT from the browser catalogues at RollBerry Studios. The RollBerry app's product-specific licence notices continue to apply to its respective components; the open licences stated below are not restricted by this distinction.
The RollBerry Studios browser catalogues include material from the System Reference Document 5.2.1 (“SRD 5.2.1”) by Wizards of the Coast LLC, available at dndbeyond.com/srd. The SRD 5.2.1 is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.
Modification notice: The official German edition is the source. RollBerry selected, technically extracted, structured, normalized, filtered, and formatted material for browser views.
Separate SRD 5.1 catalogs: The explicitly labelled bilingual catalogs at RollBerry Studios for monsters, animals, spells, and equipment use an older dataset kept separate from SRD 5.2.1. This work includes material taken from the System Reference Document 5.1 (“SRD 5.1”) by Wizards of the Coast LLC and available at dnd.wizards.com/resources/systems-reference-document.
